Built for online retail brands looking to go beyond the competition and thrive in fiercely competitive markets, Upp was designed specifically to enable margin analysis in order to connect business outcomes to daily tasks and enable retailers to react to market circumstances faster than competitors, all through the power of a centralised online web app.
The user base for this project covered varying levels in retail outlets. After intial focus groups we found we could add most value focusing on product listers, product marketers and key buiness owners. With this our aim became a dual purposed system, the first mananging product listing and the second focused on the analysis of the orgnisations daily margin trend on a product by product basis. The platform was built using micro-services and an event-sourced architecture. Additionally we employed AI services to gather insights and drive suggestions to customers using the platform, all with the aim of improving the retailers profitiability across a variety of online mediums.
